Hi, I’m Srushti.

I like figuring out why people stop scrolling.

Sometimes it is the idea. Sometimes it is the timing. Sometimes it is one sentence that sounds exactly like something they would say themselves.

That curiosity is what pulled me into social media marketing.

For the past two years, I’ve worked on the thinking behind what brands say online: finding the audience, shaping the message, turning ideas into content and learning from what happens next.

My work sits between creative thinking and commercial thinking. I learn how an audience behaves, understand what a brand wants to achieve, build the content around both, then use the response to make the next decision better.

I started my career at Tinge Blends Colours LLP as a Digital Marketing Associate May 2024 to April 2026, working across digital marketing, email, lead generation and social media before moving into international and B2B marketing. I planned and executed integrated marketing initiatives across content marketing, SEO, social media, email campaigns and market research, and collaborated with international clients and internal teams to strengthen brand positioning in global markets.

Alongside that, I worked as a Freelance Social Media Manager for a yoga studio Sep 2025 to Jan 2026, managing its Instagram presence and running its first Meta Ads campaigns. More on that below.

Today, I’m a Social Media Executive at Social Tamasha May 2026 to present, where my work includes social media management, client servicing, trends and brand strategy. I manage social media accounts end to end, develop content strategies, monitor campaign performance and coordinate with clients and internal teams to keep campaigns running smoothly.

Along the way, I’ve learned that good marketing rarely comes from choosing between creativity and data. I like using both.

Marketing Briefs

Social & content marketing

I turn brand goals into things people can actually see, read, save, share and respond to. That means content planning, calendars, concepts, captions, formats and the decisions behind what gets published where. Then I look at the response and use it to shape what comes next.

Client servicing

Good work gets better when everyone knows what is happening. I work between clients and creative teams to understand briefs, keep communication clear, manage expectations and move ideas from conversation to execution.

Trends & brand strategy

I spend a lot of time watching what people are talking about, but the interesting part is deciding what belongs to the brand. I look for cultural moments, formats and audience behaviours that can become useful opportunities rather than temporary noise.

Freelance work

Social Media Management at a Yoga StudioSep 2025 to Jan 2026

Four Instagram posts made for the yoga studio: a batch timings poster, a singing bowl close-up, a daily yoga classes story and an outdoor yoga photo

My client runs a yoga studio and was struggling to get students to attend the daily yoga classes and the weekly sound healing session.

The very first campaign I conducted allowed interested people to DM us on Facebook and Instagram, but the quality of the leads was very low, which led to testing multiple ways in which people don’t just slide into our DMs. Instead of “DM US”, we switched it to “LEARN MORE”, and the page would direct prospects to a form asking them for basic details. That’s how we were able to segregate leads, and once they attended the trial class, the conversion rate went up from 5% to 65%.

I managed Meta Ads lead campaigns focused on driving class inquiries and improving cost efficiency. Over the campaign period, we generated 38 total leads with a combined reach of 66,254 people and 155,306 impressions. The strongest ad set reduced cost per lead from ₹117.50 to ₹36.11, a drop of nearly 69 percent, while increasing lead volume from 6 to 10 to 12 in optimized phases, marking 100 percent growth from the initial set. Through structured testing and optimization, we improved both volume and efficiency, resulting in more consistent inquiries for daily yoga classes and weekly sound healing sessions.

Since the client was testing Meta Ads for the very first time, the budget was set on the lower side. Despite this, we were able to generate consistent leads and identify which creatives and audiences performed best.

Perspectives for work

Listen

Before I make anything, I want to know who we are speaking to: what they care about, what they are seeing, and what the brand has permission to say. Audience understanding gives the idea somewhere to begin.

Find the angle

Every brand has more things it could say than things it should say. I look for the perspective that feels useful, recognisable and specific to the brand. That becomes the thread connecting the content.

Make

Then the idea has to become real. Copy, formats, briefs, calendars, campaigns and all the small decisions that turn a strategy into something people can interact with.

Learn

Once the work is out, I want to know what happened. Reach, engagement, clicks, leads, audience behaviour and qualitative responses all add another piece to the picture. The goal is to make the next piece of work smarter.

With every marketing campaign, I love finding:

  • What catches their attention?
  • What feels relevant to them?
  • What makes them remember a brand?
  • And what makes them do something next?

That is the part I want to keep getting better at.
